Startups Map
A directory that maps startups, jobs, and tools by city, letting early-stage SaaS founders list their company for free
The Problem
Early-stage SaaS founders struggle to be discovered by potential users, other founders, or hires, since there is no central place that maps where startups are located and what they offer. Today founders rely on scattered listings or word of mouth, and newer or smaller companies get buried beneath more established ones. The site frames this directly: being found is free, but being seen first requires paying for priority placement, implying that without it, visibility is limited. This also makes it harder for founders to find peers nearby for community or networking.
The Solution
Startups Map is a directory that plots startups on a map and city browser, alongside listings for jobs and tools & services. Founders can add their startup for free, which includes a basic profile, map listing, and the ability to list one tool or service. Paid tiers (Premium and Premium+) add a verified badge, an analytics dashboard with view tracking, priority or top map placement, a more detailed founder profile with photo and bio, and a 'Founder Meetup Radar' to find and connect with nearby founders. Premium+ additionally unlocks job postings and hiring tools. The site also publishes founder stories and product deep-dives on its blog and offers alerts for new startups.
