The Problem

Software teams that ship frequently need to announce each release with a launch video and graphics for multiple social platforms, but producing this content takes time away from building the product. Today this work means someone manually writing posts, resizing images for each platform, checking caption limits, and tracking what actually went out. tday argues this creates a gap between shipping and announcing, so features get built but never get the attention of a proper launch.

The Solution

tday connects to a team's GitHub or GitLab repo, or their website, and reads what changed, filtering out chores and refactors to keep only user-facing features. For each new feature it generates a narrated 16:9 launch video plus graphics sized natively for each platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Google Business), all styled with the team's colors, logo, and fonts pulled from their site or brand kit. Drafts land in Slack for review, where a team can approve, tweak, or ignore them, and can choose to auto-publish or hold everything in a review queue per channel. Posting is queued to a schedule or published immediately, with captions checked against platform limits and impressions, reach, and engagement pulled back into the product. An ads feature that reuses the same launch assets for paid campaigns is listed as coming soon.
