The Problem

Sales and GTM teams at AI infrastructure and developer tool companies need to know when a target account is actively switching vendors or adopting new technology, but companies rarely announce these changes publicly. Instead, the evidence is scattered across commit diffs, GitHub issue threads, changelogs and job postings, making it slow and manual to notice that a prospect just dropped a competitor or opened a buying window. By the time a sales rep finds out through traditional means, the opportunity may already be gone to a faster-moving competitor. Teams are left either missing these windows entirely or spending significant manual effort monitoring scattered public sources for every account in their market.

The Solution

Technography continuously reads the public repos, issue threads, changelogs and job posts of a company's ICP to detect technical evidence of buying intent, such as a dependency change in requirements.txt, an engineer asking about a missing feature in an issue thread, or a new job posting referencing a competing or relevant tool. It organizes this into a workflow of three steps: finding ICP accounts based on the tools they run, watching accounts on a list that gets re-judged as signals change, and triggering outreach when signals cluster, including a mapped buying committee of champion, influencer and enabler roles. Every claim in the product is tagged as either observed (a public record) or inferred (a reading with a confidence level), with the underlying evidence shown alongside firmographics, infrastructure, and committee details for each account. The product also includes a Technology Graph to look up any company's stack from its domain, and an account search tool filterable by industry, headcount and location. Onboarding starts by entering a company's own website, which Technography reads to pre-fill an ICP and estimate a matching company list before signup.
