The Problem

Large companies in construction, logistics, manufacturing, and retail run critical processes, like bid triage and approvals, through manual, fragmented work: someone checks a portal and inbox daily, triages by hand, searches folders for past work, retypes status into trackers, chases quotes over email and chat, and prices decisions by hand from memory or past bids. Context lives in scattered systems (shared inboxes, chat threads, spreadsheets, drives) and lessons learned stay with whoever did the work rather than becoming institutional knowledge. Traditional enterprise transformation to fix this has historically required embedded engineers and years of work, making it slow and expensive.

The Solution

Terminal Use embeds engineers with a company's team to map how a process actually runs today through interviews, with agents building that map in days rather than months. It then rebuilds one process at a time on top of the client's existing systems (Snowflake, SAP, Salesforce, Outlook, SharePoint, and similar), with nothing to migrate. The rebuilt workflow routes requests automatically, extracts action items with owners, assembles evidence packets (similar bids, past quotes, price-to-win data) for decisions, and keeps a record of every decision made, by whom, why, and on what evidence. That record becomes a benchmark that agents are tested against before being allowed to handle work independently, so judgment calls stay with the client's team while repetitive steps are automated. The company reports a first process typically goes live around week six, with each subsequent process becoming faster to rebuild.

Why Now?

The founders argue that enterprise transformation previously required embedded engineers and years of manual mapping work, but AI agents have now gotten good enough to do that mapping quickly, cutting the time and cost of the same playbook.
