Testifly
Testifly is an autonomous AI QA platform that discovers, writes, runs, and heals a web app's tests without manual
The Problem
Small teams shipping web apps often have no dedicated QA process and end up relying on their own users to find bugs. Writing and maintaining test scripts requires engineering time to author test cases, brief AI tools on what matters, and keep selectors and flows updated every time the UI changes. The blog titles reference having 'no QA process' and a QA hire 'never actually on the table at three people,' suggesting the target customer is a small team without QA staff. Without automated coverage, regressions can reach production and failures are hard to diagnose quickly.
The Solution
Testifly connects to a web app via a single URL, including apps that require login (password, social, magic link, or custom auth), and autonomously discovers flows, pages, and features to generate tests without anyone writing test cases. It runs these tests across environments and CI/CD pipelines, gating pre-deploy and monitoring staging and production continuously, and performs UX convention and bug-pattern checks to catch regressions before release. When a feature's behavior changes, Testifly self-heals broken selectors and updates affected tests automatically, and when a test fails it provides root-cause analysis with session video replay. It also offers a 'blast radius' feature, an MCP server, test suite reporting synced to Jira, Linear, Notion, Slack, and email, flexible hosting (cloud, on-prem, or self-hosted behind a firewall), and an AI assistant called Tessa for answering questions and drafting tests in chat.
