Trope Systems, Inc.
Trope builds and deploys custom AI agents tailored to a company's specific ERP configuration and workflows.
The Problem
Companies' ERP systems are heavily customized over years to match how the business actually operates, so generic AI agents struggle with company-specific ERP work. General tools like Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Cowork, and Copilot Studio either do not know a company's ERP setup, work across apps without understanding ERP logic, or require the customer to build and maintain the agent themselves. Native ERP agents only handle the vendor's standard workflow and stop there. As a result, ERP vendors, VARs, systems integrators, and advisory firms are left covering customer-specific workflows that never fit the product roadmap, or must build and maintain their own engineering capability to do so, which adds cost and delay to adopting AI agents.
The Solution
Trope acts as an AI forward deployed engineering (FDE) team for ERP, handling the engineering and implementation of custom AI agents so customers do not need to hire an internal AI team. The agent is built around the customer's specific ERP configuration, extensions, and data, learning the company's process from the systems and files the customer approves. Before going live, the agent is evaluated, tested in a sandbox, and run in shadow mode so customers can see it work on their own data before production. Trope charges $0 for implementation, covering the custom engineering itself, and also partners with ERP vendors, VARs, systems integrators, advisory firms, and private equity firms to offer custom AI agents without those partners taking on the R&D.
