underclip
underclip breaks down popular TikTok, Reel and Short edits into cuts, beat sync and effects so creators can rebuild them
The Problem
Creators who want to recreate a popular edit style from TikTok, Reels or Shorts have no easy way to see exactly how that edit was made. They would otherwise have to manually study a reference video frame by frame to figure out where cuts land on the beat, what camera moves and zooms were used, which effects like blur hits or flashes were applied, and what color grade was used. This is slow and imprecise, and makes it hard to actually rebuild a loved edit with one's own clips.
The Solution
underclip analyzes any reference video and lays out its cuts and beat sync, camera moves as keyframes, effects (blur hits, flashes, splits and more), and color grade. Users then rebuild the edit on a real timeline with shots, text, effects and music on separate tracks, dropping in their own clips and adjusting keyframes and curves, or asking an integrated Claude assistant to make changes like 'make the zooms hit harder on the drop.' The product also offers color grade matching or presets, AI upscaling on paid plans, and stylistic looks such as glow, film or black and white. Finished edits can be exported at 4K 60fps on paid plans, or sent to After Effects with all effects and keyframes intact, and Pro users can import their own After Effects projects.
