Untab
Untab builds curated, ordered learning maps for any topic, pulling vetted web resources and community contributions
The Problem
People trying to learn a subject today either search piecemeal or ask a chatbot. A chatbot gives a single answer shaped to the question they knew how to ask, with no sources shown until asked, no logical order, and nothing that persists after the tab closes or improves over time. The page frames this as the core gap: learners are left without a sequenced path through a subject (its example is personal finance, starting from 'stop leaving my savings in cash') and without a way to know which resources are actually trustworthy.
The Solution
Untab lets a user start a 'topic' and generates a map of concepts in prerequisite order, each backed by resources pulled from the web and scored, with a visible trust ladder (Found, Verified, Relevance-checked, Community-approved). The generation process is shown step by step on screen: extracting learning intent, building a knowledge graph, validating it for cycles and gaps, fetching and scoring candidate resources, then saving the topic, so users can see why a given resource was placed via a 'placement receipt' on each node. The community can review AI-drafted concepts, add vetted material, and mark nodes 'community-approved' or 'fresh,' and a 'Creator Spotlight' surfaces creators who teach different parts of the same domain so their audiences can discover each other.
