The Problem

Runners who follow structured training plans from platforms like TrainingPeaks, Final Surge, or Intervals.icu often lack a smartwatch app that can import those exact sessions, guide them step by step on the wrist, and send results back for coaching and analysis. Many also use additional sensors such as Stryd foot pods, heart-rate straps, smart treadmills, or CORE body temperature monitors, but getting all of that data onto Apple Watch or Wear OS and back into their training service typically requires separate apps or manual entry. This leaves a gap between the training plan a coach or platform creates, the sensors runners already own, and the watch they actually train with, forcing runners to piece together workflows or lose data continuity between planning and analysis.

The Solution

Watchletic is a connected workout app for Apple Watch and Wear OS that imports structured workouts from 16 listed services including TrainingPeaks, Final Surge, Intervals.icu, and Athletica, displays each interval, target, and live metric on the watch, and exports completed sessions as FIT, GPX, or TCX files back to those same platforms or to Strava and Runalyze. It connects to Bluetooth devices such as Stryd foot pods, heart-rate monitors (including RR-interval data for HRV and DFA-a1), smart treadmills or NPE Runn sensors, CORE body temperature sensors, and ActiveLook/ENGO glasses, recording up to 53 workout metrics. Additional features include custom interval and template creation, pacing splits similar to Garmin's PacePro, Apple Health and Health Connect sync, Always-On display, Apple Watch Ultra action button controls, and a Wear OS tile/complication for quick workout access.
