Zaplar
Zaplar builds an AI-powered operating system that replaces hotel PMS, POS, and booking software with one unified system.
The Problem
Hotels today run rooms, events, spa, and food and beverage operations on separate disconnected software tools, forcing staff to spend their time reconciling data between systems instead of serving guests. According to figures on the site, hotel managers lose over 400 hours per year just switching between systems, up to 19% of operating costs are wasted on duplicated admin and re-entry, 40% of guest spend never makes it into the guest profile, and 56% of operators miss upsell opportunities because their systems do not communicate with each other. This fragmentation creates hidden costs and lost revenue for hoteliers who are otherwise focused on hospitality.
The Solution
Zaplar is described as an agentic operating system for hotels that plans, coordinates, and completes routine operational work autonomously, surfacing suggested actions that staff review and approve with one click. It consolidates property management (PMS), point of sale, a booking engine, guest messaging across channels including OTAs, and guest intelligence into a single system. A feature called Zaplar Spatial uses spatial reasoning to let the system understand the physical properties of a hotel, such as how rooms, spaces, people, and bookings connect. Onboarding reportedly takes days rather than months, with customers uploading their spaces and assets so Zaplar can build a model of the property, supported by forward deployed engineers provided free of charge during setup. The system can replace a hotel's entire software stack or integrate alongside existing tools, with hotels choosing the pace at which it takes on more of their operations.
